Hello Baxter Barracudas!! My name is Eve Dowling and I will be the
head coach for the Barracudas this season! I am very excited to take
on this new adventure with you. I am also a fourth grade teacher at
Orchard Park Elementary school and a resident in Baxter. I love the
community here and being a part of it in as many ways as possible. I
have a son, Parkes, who is about 1 ½ years old. I can’t wait for him
to be a little Barracuda. My family and I love to be active and you
will probably see us around the neighborhood quite a bit. I myself
have always loved swimming and I feel that no matter what sport you
play – swimming is an amazing workout for any and all. I was on a
competitive swim team from the time I could join (I believe I was 5)
through my senior year in high school. My brother and I swam year
around as well as always participating in our neighborhood’s swim team
and school’s swim team In high school we won the state championship 3
out of 4 years! Therefore, I have tons of swimming memories that I
hold on to, and I hope to create amazing one’s for your child this
summer as well. See you on the deck!
Hello Baxter Barracudas! My name is Torri and I will be one of the assistant coaches this season. I am new to the Fort Mill area, having just moved down here from Ohio last August. I am currently a 1st grade teacher at Doby’s Bridge Elementary. I started swimming when I was 11 years old and swam through college. I absolutely loved my experience as a swimmer and am thrilled to be in a position where I can guide young swimmers and help them grow in their skills. I am looking forward to an amazing season and can’t wait to work with everyone! Go Barracudas!
