Hello Baxter Barracudas! My name is Torri and I will be the Head Coach this season. I am new to the Fort Mill area, having recently moved down here from Ohio in 2018. I am currently a 1st grade teacher at Doby’s Bridge Elementary. I started swimming when I was 11 years old and swam through college. I absolutely loved my experience as a swimmer and am thrilled to be in a position where I can guide young swimmers and help them grow in their skills. I am looking forward to an amazing season and can’t wait to work with everyone! Go Barracudas!
Hi! My name is Vivian Knighten. I am the Assistant Coach this year. This is my fourth year coaching and my 11th as a swimmer or coach. I’ve swam for Leroy Springs and Fort Mill High School as well. And have coached for MiniRays and Leroy Springs. Expect to see me at the pool often as I am a swim instructor and lead lifeguard for the YMCA. I love to swim and hope to spread that joy to y’all.

I am excited to be working as a coach for the Baxter Barracudas and can’t wait to swim as a Barracuda for one final season. I have 10 years of swimming experience on the Barracudas and 8 years swimming for the Rays swim team. I also swam for the FMHS varsity swim team for 5 years and was a captain my senior year. This will be my third year as a junior coach for the Barracudas. I am also a lead lifeguard at the Baxter YMCA.

Hi, my name is Drew Fey and I am looking forward to being a junior coach for this swim season. I have 10 years of swimming experience, starting with Baxter Barracudas when I was 6. Hello! My name is Xander. I am fifteen and a sophomore at Fort Mill High School. My leading strokes are backstroke and following, butterfly. I work well with younger kids as well as older. This will be my first year as a junior Baxter Barracudas swim coach and I am excited for a great swim season with everyone!

Hi my name is Mary and this year is my first year being a junior coach. My favorite strokes are breaststroke and butterfly. I have been swimming now for around nine years and I have loved every minute of it. Fun fact about me is that I used to be a back striker. I now swim for Rock Hill Rays, and I am on Nation Ford’s Varsity swim team. I am so excited to help and see your kids grow as better swimmers.

Hi! I am Meridan DeHaan. I am a student at Fort Mill High School and I have been swimming for the Baxter Barracudas for 6 years. In my free time, I enjoy photography, reading, biking, and hanging out with my friends. I look forward to being a Junior Coach this season.
